March 2018 Newsletter

2018 marked the 11th year of our Speak Justice Take Action program!

Along with being able to host some of our partners and base for our SPARK Organizing Intensive and Legislate THIS!, we also had the privilege of collaborating with some of our partner organizations for #WokeWednesdays throughout the legislative session and to create the first annual Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice advocacy day at the Capitol. We are proud of everyone who showed up to learn about important issues and make their voices heard at the Capitol!

WELCOME ERIN TO THE SPARK TEAM!

Erin is an Ohio native who moved to Atlanta to attend Spelman College. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Spelman, Erin went on to obtain her Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Georgia State University. She has always been involved in building up her community through advocating for the homeless and inner-city youth, as well as various community services projects both personally and through school organizations. Though Erin has worked on many of the film and television projects around Atlanta as a Production Assistant, she is excited to alter her career path with her position at SPARK. Erin loves to spend time outdoors and uses both painting and writing to express herself creatively.
WHAT RJ MEANS TO YOU…
